1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases from 808 Cycles through www.808cycles.com and, where relevant, our retail store at 9 King Albert Park, #02-01 KAP Mall, Singapore 598332. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Singapore law.
If you have questions, contact sales@808cycles.com or call or WhatsApp +65 9820 8642.
2. Products and information
We take reasonable care to describe and display products accurately. Colours, finishes and appearance may vary slightly from on-screen images. Specifications, components and packaging may change when manufacturers update a product. Please contact us before ordering if a particular feature is essential.
Product availability is subject to stock. Adding an item to your basket does not reserve it. We may limit quantities or decline an order where stock is unavailable, information is incorrect, fraud is suspected or the order cannot reasonably be fulfilled.
3. Prices and taxes
Prices are shown in Singapore dollars unless otherwise stated. The price charged is the price displayed at checkout when you submit your order, together with any applicable delivery charge. We may correct obvious pricing or product-information errors. If an error affects an order already placed, we will contact you and offer the choice to proceed at the corrected price or cancel for a refund of amounts paid.
4. Orders and acceptance
Your checkout submission is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement only confirms that we received the order; it does not guarantee acceptance. A binding sale is formed when we confirm acceptance, dispatch the goods or notify you that they are ready for collection, whichever occurs first.
Please check your contact, billing and delivery details before submitting an order. Contact us promptly if anything is incorrect. We cannot guarantee that changes can be made after processing or dispatch begins.
5. Payment
Payment must be made using a method offered at checkout. Available methods may include payment services provided by HitPay and ShopBack PayLater. The payment provider may apply separate terms and eligibility checks. We do not control a provider’s approval decision.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method. We may delay or cancel an order if payment is declined, reversed, flagged for review or not completed.
6. Delivery and collection
Our delivery methods, charges and estimated times are described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these terms.
For Singapore orders, free local postage is available unless otherwise specified. Orders are normally processed within 2 working days, and free local postage normally takes 3 to 5 working days after processing. Store self-collection is available at no charge. International delivery charges are shown at checkout.
Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees. Delays may occur because of carriers, customs, weather, peak periods, address problems or events outside our reasonable control. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and for any customs duties, import taxes or charges imposed by the destination country unless checkout expressly states otherwise.
For store collection, we may ask for the order confirmation and proof of identity or authority to collect. Please collect within any period stated in our notification.
7. Inspection, returns and exchanges
Please inspect goods promptly after delivery or collection and contact us as soon as possible if an item is incorrect, damaged or defective.
Our Returns & Exchanges Policy forms part of these terms. In summary:
- eligible items may be exchanged for an item of similar value within 7 days from the date of purchase;
- items are not returnable for cash;
- bicycles are not returnable once ridden;
- sale items, special orders, installed parts, worn helmets, and anything removed from its original packaging or used or installed cannot be returned or exchanged; and
- customers bear return-shipping costs, or may bring an eligible item to our store within the 7-day period.
These store-policy limits do not exclude remedies that may be available for goods that fail to meet mandatory requirements under applicable Singapore consumer law.
8. Cancellations
Contact us immediately if you wish to cancel an order. We will try to help, but cancellation is not guaranteed once an order has been accepted, prepared, specially ordered, installed, collected or dispatched. If a cancellation is accepted, any refund will normally be returned through the original payment method, subject to payment-provider processing times and any non-refundable charges permitted by law.
9. Product use, assembly and safety
Bicycles, helmets, parts and accessories must be used, fitted, adjusted and maintained correctly. Follow manufacturer instructions and safety warnings. Where professional assembly or installation is recommended, it should be carried out by a suitably qualified person. Alteration, misuse, improper installation, impact damage, normal wear and tear, or failure to maintain a product may affect performance and any applicable warranty.
Before riding, check that the bicycle is roadworthy and that brakes, wheels, tyres, fasteners and safety equipment are functioning correctly. Riders are responsible for complying with applicable road, path, helmet and safety rules.
10. Manufacturer warranties
Some products include a manufacturer’s warranty subject to the manufacturer’s terms, registration requirements and exclusions. Warranty duration and coverage vary by product. Contact us with proof of purchase if you need assistance with a potential warranty claim. We do not promise coverage beyond the manufacturer’s terms or rights required by law.
11. Accounts and website use
You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape or interfere with the service, place fraudulent orders, or use website content in a way that infringes our or another person’s rights.
12. Intellectual property
The website and its text, images, graphics, logos, product presentation and other content are owned by or licensed to 808 Cycles or the relevant rights holder. You may view and use the website for personal shopping purposes, but you may not reproduce, republish, distribute or commercially exploit its content without permission, except as allowed by law.
13. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or opportunity, or loss caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, improper installation, inadequate maintenance or failure to follow instructions.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data are described in our Privacy Policy. Payment, analytics, advertising, delivery and communication providers may also apply their own privacy notices.
15. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and resume performance where practicable.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you place an order will generally apply to that order. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore will have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights or dispute-resolution options that apply.
18. Severability and waiver
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure or delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right.
